Well?

Dr. Ghadari just left after checking Cathy out, removing the pain pump [it was installed such that it could come home with her, but had "slipped out" after 12-18 hours and she's been on oral pain meds since] and changing her bandages.

Since she had eaten breakfast and we had walked prior to his arrival, and based upon his assessment of her condition, he gave the hospital orders that we could leave at Cathy's discretion.

As I write this, we are enjoying the College Church 9:30 service over the internet and Cathy is in no rush to "bug out". Upon our return, I plan on putting a card on our door advising when Cathy welcomes visitors and when she needs rest and quiet. We'll depart when Cathy decides she's ready to return home. Thank you for your interest, prayers and understanding her wishes.

Dear Greg and Cathy,
...great idea regarding the card on your door! So many of us are so anxious to see you, Cath, but at the same time would never EVER want to impede your recovery!! Just know that tons of people are praying continually. I think if any of us come to find the card on your door telling us to visit at another time, it can serve as a reminder to pray, right then and there, for good rest!
I'm so happy that Hope made it to church today!
By the way, I have over 4 pages of peoples email (I had to make a separate folder!) all wanting to minister to you in some way!! You are loved.
Love,

Dear Cathy and Greg,
Thanks for letting us read your blog and knowing and how to pray for and with you. We had a lively congregational meeting tonight, with robust singing, informative questions, and heartfelt comments about whether to call Dr Moody.
We miss you in Bible study...your cheerful presence is still felt.

Dear Greg and Cathy
We have been praying for you all this weekend. We know that God is in control and he is full of grace and mercy. His mercies are new every morning. May you continue to rest and recover from this difficult surgery. We love you and want you to do what the doctor orders! I would love to talk to you soon. I missed you so much this weekend. It was fun to be with your small group girls. They are praying and thinking of you! You are loved and you were missed!
much love

My dear Cathy; I understand what your going thru (to some degree). Do not look too far down the road and get overwhelmed-which I did. Take today as it is and what God provides. I love you.
